Welcome Sam! Sam Lowes becomes an IXON rider in Moto2 IXON is a committed brand and it is our job to bring our product users the very best equipment. What we learn at the top of racing, we seek to reflect in our ranges. From the track, where we contribute to the performance of our riders, to the road, where we enhance the riding experience of the people who choose IXON equipment, there are two driving forces behind our product development: innovation and technology. In Grand Prix, for this 2022 season, we are proud to sign a partnership with a new rider: the British rider Sam Lowes, representing the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team in Moto2, becomes an IXON rider! Through our work with riders and teams, we are one of the most dynamic brands in the paddock, recognised for the quality of our products. For the 2022 season we want to continue to make our mark on the MotoGP scene and use this ultimate arena of competition as our best venue for Research & Development. The inclusion of Sam Lowes as an IXON rider is part of this and makes sense in many ways. After finishing third overall in 2020 and fourth in 2021, Sam Lowes has a clear goal for 2022: the Moto2 crown. The British rider is a real title contender and IXON will be by his side to achieve this goal. Through our made-to-measure suits manufactured in our workshop in France but also our Racing Service dedicated to the riders and present at all the races of the calendar, we will work closely with Sam Lowes to support him at best in his world title quest. With 8 seasons in Grand Prix, including one in the premier class, Sam Lowes is an experienced rider. He will be able to actively participate in the development of IXON products in competition. This R&D dynamic, which underlines the link between equipment quality and riding performance, is based on feedback from the riders: Sam Lowes will be able to use all his racing experience in this continuous innovation process. Finally, we share common values with the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider. Sam Lowes has a positive and committed attitude and is always looking to improve his performance. On track, the British rider acts with the same approach we have at IXON: being focused on continuous improvement with attention to detail and reassessment of one’s work with the aim of excellence. As soon as I started talking to them and thinking about changing my equipment, it was the perfect and only choice. Once I saw how serious IXON was and how good the quality of the suits was, my decision was made. I can’t wait to get started this season.
